Show time! The Just For Us Originals wearable art show happens this Friday and Saturday, it will be the first show of what I just realized will be a very busy Fall season. The Just For Us Originals is a wonderful show and I’m glad it’s found such a glamorous venue at the Mississauga Living…
I love taking workshops! Even though I have been doing what I do for 31 years I am always learning, we learn until we are gone. Learning new felting techniques. November afforded me the opportunity to take a workshop with Marjolein Dallinger of Bloomfelt.com. Her work is inspirational even if we don’t actually pursue that…
While surfing the net looking for inspiration I found this blog…. http://www.aboutknittingmachines.com/KnittingMachineMagazines.html I started to download the magazines and one by one and found so much of use and interest…even among the oversize, drop shouldered ’80’s fashions I downloaded them all. I found a few things I want to make for myself, some neat instruction…

Pink Felted Vest detail. My feet hurt…and we’re not even in Toronto yet! I spent last night sewing a new table covering for my booth table…so I can access all the stuff I store under the table, printing out rack cards…after photographing some new items this morning….outside…in the wind! While Monday night is our ‘movie…
Hello Carolyn, i like that colour combo on the top picture, the beige and yellow and hot pink. It was nice to see you last night, and chat. I thought about your idea, it was a good one, and today i fitted 6 new blinds to the windows of the porch gallery, so there wont be any problems with any sun damage. I thought it would be a great idea for keeping it cooler on really hot days too. have fun with your knittin machine:)
